NEW BOOK RELEASE
Red Vapor, by Scott Moon
I must begin with an appeal. Drop everything and read this book.
Is that too much to ask?
Okay, fine. But I had to try.
Red Vapor is the first book I have published outside military science fiction/space opera in a long time. The characters are exciting and well-developed. The plot is thrilling and unique.
The entire writing experience was so freaking cathartic, I couldn’t stop. Maybe that is why authors can’t stop writing about the end of the world.
But most of all, this story has a child in jeopardy and a dog.
There are so many things I want to tell you about this story, but I don’t want to start flinging spoilers. Let’s put it this way. The end of civilization was not what anyone expected. If you think I’m exaggerating, ask the dog.
Please give this one a shot. It’s a fast read. Then share it with anyone you know who loves post-apocalyptic thrillers.
If the series takes off, there will be more. If not, then I’ll be sad.
Stay safe. Have a great week. And trust the dog.
Best,
Scott
RED VAPOR (Chaos Forever, Book 1)
Follow the dog if you want to live.
The attack came right when the economy was turning around. America’s ultimate enemy deployed a coast-to-coast bio-weapon into the jet stream and lost control of its ultimate purpose. The entire world suffered, or at least that’s what Jason Liddell and a small group of unlikely survivors think.
When the death clouds refuse to dissipate, it becomes clear they do more than kill. Society’s fragile shell has been shattered beyond repair, and each day is a fight for survival. Maybe the world will be a better place afterward, but first, things are going to get a lot worse.
One man in search of his family, a quick-witted orphan kid, and a plastic surgeon can’t stay where they are, and can’t go anywhere else without getting killed.
The streets are full of hunters, and the red vapor drifts from city to city like the angel of death. The only thing they can do is stay together and follow the dog.
Fans of hard-hitting, post-apocalyptic EMP stories will be on the edge of their seats, desperate to find order in chaos.
